Thierry Beaudet, président d'Istya et de la MGEN
Un géant de l'assurance complémentaire santé vient de naître avec la création d'un groupe composé de cinq mutuelles de la fonction publique. Baptisé Istya, ce groupe est présidé par Thierry Beaudet, par ailleurs président de la MGEN, la plus grosse mutuelle de ce nouveau groupe. Il explique à La Tribune les objectifs d'Istya qui compte 3,5 milliards d'euros de chiffre d'affaires et couvre près de 10 % de la population française.

L'auteur ou la Tribune seraient bien avisés de traiter au fond cette question dans un prochain papier.
En effet à moins d'être très averti on n'en a pas vraiment conscience alors que les enjeux économiques et sociaux sont sans doute très substantiels.
En outre, il serait intéressant de savoir si cette tendance est également en oeuvre dans les autres pays de l'Union Européenne; et si oui si c'est de façon moindre ou au contraire bien supérieure . Enfin quel est le rôle joué dans ces évolutions par les Instances européennes.

Face au lobby européen des assureurs La mutualité française est resté totalement silencieuse. Il serait temps quelle se réveille et qu' elle défende le mutualisme au niveau européen.
